Thank you to everyone who has taken part in our surveys and focus groups as part of our work on the Sustainable Hospital Services programme. We are committed to engaging with patients and the public to make sure they are aware and have an opportunity to get involved in the development of our ideas. The involvement exercises so far have gathered the views and experiences of local people who have used the hospital services at Macclesfield General Hospital and Stepping Hill Hospital.
Your feedback has made a real difference in shaping how services will be delivered. The information gathered has been analysed by an independent organisation, and a full report has been shared with our trusts, which details what is important to you. It concludes with three key themes which will be applied to options as they develop, to assess their viability. The key themes are waiting times, travel and transport and patient choice.
